Magical hoodoo oils
Killing time during “shelter in place” orders, I figured I might list a few of my favorite magical hoodoo oil recipes – I didn’t get these from any recipe book but simply based the combinations listed below on my own intuition and research, with the self-imposed constraint (mostly observed) of never using any oil or ingredient more than once.
I’ve read that the right way to do make magical oils is to add 20-40 drops of essential oil for every 4 oz of almond oil for efficient dilution into the carrier, but feel free to experiment on your own.
For extra fun, you can also try buying a 32 ox. bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Rose Castile soap and adding oils as needed to make a kickass magical bath suitable for daily use.
